로마서 8:17-18
17. 자녀이면 또한 상속자 곧 하나님의 상속자요 그리스도와 함께 한 상속자니 우리가 그와 함께 영광을 받기 위하여 고난도 함께 받아야 할 것이니라
18 생각하건대 현재의 고난은 장차 우리에게 나타날 영광과 비교할 수 없도다

Romans 8:17-18
17. Now if we are children, then we are heirs--heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.
18  For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.

히브리서 2:9-10
9. 오직 우리가 천사들보다 잠시 동안 못하게 하심을 입은 자 곧 죽음의 고난 받으심으로 말미암아 영광과 존귀로 관을 쓰신 예수를 보니 이를 행하심은 하나님의 은혜로 말미암아 모든 사람을 위하여 죽음을 맛보려 하심이라
10. 그러므로 만물이 그를 위하고 또한 그로 말미암은 이가 많은 아들들을 이끌어 영광에 들어가게 하시는 일에 그들의 구원의 창시자를 고난을 통하여 온전하게 하심이 합당하도다

Hebrew 2:9-10
9. But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, now crowned with glory and honor because he suffered death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone.
10. In bringing many sons to glory, it was fitting that God, for whom and through whom everything exists, should make the author of their salvation perfect through suffering.

베드로전서 4:12-14
12. 사랑하는 자들아 너희를 연단하려고 오는 불 시험을 이상한 일 당하는 것 같이 이상히 여기지 말고
13. 오히려 너희가 그리스도의 고난에 참여하는 것으로 즐거워하라 이는 그의 영광을 나타내실 때에 너희로 즐거워하고 기뻐하게 하려 함이라
14. 너희가 그리스도의 이름으로 치욕을 당하면 복 있는 자로다 영광의 영 곧 하나님의 영이 너희 위에 계심이라

1 Peter 4:12-14
12. Dear friends, do not be surprised at the painful trial you are suffering, as though something strange were happening to you.
13. But rejoice that you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed.
14. If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you.

마태복음 5:10-11
10. 의를 위하여 박해를 받은 자는 복이 있나니 천국이 그들의 것임이라
11. 나로 말미암아 너희를 욕하고 박해하고 거짓으로 너희를 거슬러 모든 악한 말을 할 때에는 너희에게 복이 있나니

Matthew 5:10-11
10. Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
11.  "Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me.
