갈라디아서 5:16 / Galatians 5:16

16 내가 이르노니 너희는 성령을 따라 행하라 그리하면 육체의 욕심을 이루지 아니하리라 17 육체의 소욕은 성령을 거스르고 성령은 육체를 거스르나니 이 둘이 서로 대적함으로 너희가 원하는 것을 하지 못하게 하려 함이니라

16 So I say, live by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the sinful nature. 17 For the sinful nature desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the sinful nature. They are in conflict with each other, so that you do not do what you want.

요한복음 3:17-19 / John 3:17-19

17 하나님이 그 아들을 세상에 보내신 것은 세상을 심판하려 하심이 아니요 그로 말미암아 세상이 구원을 받게 하려 하심이라 18 그를 믿는 자는 심판을 받지 아니하는 것이요 믿지 아니하는 자는 하나님의 독생자의 이름을 믿지 아니하므로 벌써 심판을 받은 것이니라 19 그 정죄는 이것이니 곧 빛이 세상에 왔으되 사람들이 자기 행위가 악하므로 빛보다 어둠을 더 사랑한 것이니라

17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son.19 This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.
