로마서 Romans 14:7-9

7 우리 중에 누구든지 자기를 위하여 사는 자가 없고 자기를 위하여 죽는 자도 없도다 8 우리가 살아도 주를 위하여 살고 죽어도 주를 위하여 죽나니 그러므로 사나 죽으나 우리가 주의 것이로다 9 이를 위하여 그리스도께서 죽었다가 다시 살아나셨으니 곧 죽은 자와 산 자의 주가 되려 하심이라

7 For none of us lives to himself alone and none of us dies to himself alone. 8 If we live, we live to the Lord; and if we die, we die to the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord. 9 For this very reason, Christ died and returned to life so that he might be the Lord of both the dead and the living.

골로새서 Colosians 3:1-3

1 그러므로 너희가 그리스도와 함께 다시 살리심을 받았으면 위의 것을 찾으라 거기는 그리스도께서 하나님 우편에 앉아 계시느니라 2 위의 것을 생각하고 땅의 것을 생각하지 말라 3 이는 너희가 죽었고 너희 생명이 그리스도와 함께 하나님 안에 감추어졌음이라       

1 Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. 2 Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. 3 For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.
