찬송: 30/14 여호와 하나님(주 우리 하나님), 145/145 오 거룩하신 주님

시편 44편 1~8절

1 [고라 자손의 마스길(교훈), 인도자를 따라 부르는 노래] 하나님이여 주께서 우리 조상들의 날 곧 옛날에 행하신 일을 그들이 우리에게 일러 주매 우리가 우리 귀로 들었나이다   
2 주께서 주의 손으로 뭇 백성을 내쫓으시고 우리 조상들을 이 땅에 뿌리 박게 하시며 주께서 다른 민족들은 고달프게 하시고 우리 조상들은 번성하게 하셨나이다  3 그들이 자기 칼로 땅을 얻어 차지함이 아니요 그들의 팔이 그들을 구원함도 아니라 오직 주의 오른손과 주의 팔과 주의 얼굴의 빛으로 하셨으니 주께서 그들을 기뻐하신 까닭이니이다   
4 하나님이여 주는 나의 왕이시니 야곱에게 구원을 베푸소서   
5 우리가 주를 의지하여 우리 대적을 누르고 우리를 치러 일어나는 자를 주의 이름으로 밟으리이다   
6 나는 내 활을 의지하지 아니할 것이라 내 칼이 나를 구원하지 못하리이다   
7 오직 주께서 우리를 우리 원수들에게서 구원하시고 우리를 미워하는 자로 수치를 당하게 하셨나이다   
8 우리가 종일 하나님을 자랑하였나이다 우리는 하나님의 이름에 영원히 감사하리이다 (셀라)   
 

1  To the choirmaster. A Maskil of the Sons of Korah. O God, we have heard with our ears, our fathers have told us, what deeds you performed in their days, in the days of old: 
2  you with your own hand drove out the nations, but them you planted; you afflicted the peoples, but them you set free; 
3  for not by their own sword did they win the land, nor did their own arm save them, but your right hand and your arm, and the light of your face, for you delighted in them. 
4  You are my King, O God; ordain salvation for Jacob! 
5  Through you we push down our foes; through your name we tread down those who rise up against us. 
6  For not in my bow do I trust, nor can my sword save me. 
7  But you have saved us from our foes and have put to shame those who hate us. 
8  In God we have boasted continually, and we will give thanks to your name forever. Selah.
