로마서 Romans 5:1-5

1 그러므로 우리가 믿음으로 의롭다 하심을 받았으니 우리 주 예수 그리스도로 말미암아 하나님과 화평을 누리자 2 또한 그로 말미암아 우리가 믿음으로 서 있는 이 은혜에 들어감을 얻었으며 하나님의 영광을 바라고 즐거워하느니라 3 다만 이뿐 아니라 우리가 환난 중에도 즐거워하나니 이는 환난은 인내를, 4 인내는 연단을, 연단은 소망을 이루는 줄 앎이로다 5 소망이 우리를 부끄럽게 하지 아니함은 우리에게 주신 성령으로 말미암아 하나님의 사랑이 우리 마음에 부은 바 됨이니

1 Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, 2 through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. 3 Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; 4 perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5 And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.

디도서 Titus 3:5-7

3 우리도 전에는 어리석은 자요 순종하지 아니한 자요 속은 자요 여러 가지 정욕과 행락에 종 노릇 한 자요 악독과 투기를 일삼은 자요 가증스러운 자요 피차 미워한 자였으나 4 우리 구주 하나님의 자비와 사람 사랑하심이 나타날 때에 5 우리를 구원하시되 우리가 행한 바 의로운 행위로 말미암지 아니하고 오직 그의 긍휼하심을 따라 중생의 씻음과 성령의 새롭게 하심으로 하셨나니 6 우리 구주 예수 그리스도로 말미암아 우리에게 그 성령을 풍성히 부어 주사 7 우리로 그의 은혜를 힘입어 의롭다 하심을 얻어 영생의 소망을 따라 상속자가 되게 하려 하심이라

3 At one time we too were foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures. We lived in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another. 4 But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, 5 he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, 6 whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior,  7 so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life.
