요엘 2:1-3
1 시온에서 나팔을 불며 나의 거룩한 산에서 경고의 소리를 질러 이 땅 주민들로 다 떨게 할지니 이는 여호와의 날이 이르게 됨이니라 이제 임박하였으니
2 곧 어둡고 캄캄한 날이요 짙은 구름이 덮인 날이라 새벽 빛이 산 꼭대기에 덮인 것과 같으니 이는 많고 강한 백성이 이르렀음이라 이와 같은 것이 옛날에도 없었고 이후에도 대대에 없으리로다
3 불이 그들의 앞을 사르며 불꽃이 그들의 뒤를 태우니 그들의 예전의 땅은 에덴 동산 같았으나 그들의 나중의 땅은 황폐한 들 같으니 그것을 피한 자가 없도다

Joel 2:1-3
1  Blow a trumpet in Zion; sound an alarm on my holy mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble, for the day of the LORD is coming; it is near, 
2  a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and thick darkness! Like blackness there is spread upon the mountains a great and powerful people; their like has never been before, nor will be again after them through the years of all generations. 
3  Fire devours before them, and behind them a flame burns. The land is like the garden of Eden before them, but behind them a desolate wilderness, and nothing escapes them.

히브리서 11:7
7 믿음으로 노아는 아직 보이지 않는 일에 경고하심을 받아 경외함으로 방주를 준비하여 그 집을 구원하였으니 이로 말미암아 세상을 정죄하고 믿음을 따르는 의의 상속자가 되었느니라

Hebrews 11:7
7  By faith Noah, being warned by God concerning events as yet unseen, in reverent fear constructed an ark for the saving of his household. By this he condemned the world and became an heir of the righteousness that comes by faith. 

히브리서 12:25-29
25 너희는 삼가 말씀하신 이를 거역하지 말라 땅에서 경고하신 이를 거역한 그들이 피하지 못하였거든 하물며 하늘로부터 경고하신 이를 배반하는 우리일까보냐
26 그 때에는 그 소리가 땅을 진동하였거니와 이제는 약속하여 이르시되 내가 또 한 번 땅만 아니라 하늘도 진동하리라 하셨느니라
27 이 또 한 번이라 하심은 진동하지 아니하는 것을 영존하게 하기 위하여 진동할 것들 곧 만드신 것들이 변동될 것을 나타내심이라
28 그러므로 우리가 흔들리지 않는 나라를 받았은즉 은혜를 받자 이로 말미암아 경건함과 두려움으로 하나님을 기쁘시게 섬길지니 또는 감사하자
29 우리 하나님은 소멸하는 불이심이라

Hebrews 12:25-29
25  See that you do not refuse him who is speaking. For if they did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, much less will we escape if we reject him who warns from heaven. 
26  At that time his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised, "Yet once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens." 
27  This phrase, "Yet once more," indicates the removal of things that are shaken—that is, things that have been made—in order that the things that cannot be shaken may remain. 
28  Therefore let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe, 
29  for our God is a consuming fire. 

고린도전서 15:31-34
31 형제들아 내가 그리스도 예수 우리 주 안에서 가진 바 너희에 대한 나의 자랑을 두고 단언하노니 나는 날마다 죽노라
32 내가 사람의 방법으로 에베소에서 맹수와 더불어 싸웠다면 내게 무슨 유익이 있으리요 죽은 자가 다시 살아나지 못한다면 내일 죽을 터이니 먹고 마시자 하리라
33 속지 말라 악한 동무들은 선한 행실을 더럽히나니
34 깨어 의를 행하고 죄를 짓지 말라 하나님을 알지 못하는 자가 있기로 내가 너희를 부끄럽게 하기 위하여 말하노라

1 Corinthians 15:31-34
31  I protest, brothers, by my pride in you, which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die every day! 
32  What do I gain if, humanly speaking, I fought with beasts at Ephesus? If the dead are not raised, "Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die." 
33  Do not be deceived: "Bad company ruins good morals." 
34  Wake up from your drunken stupor, as is right, and do not go on sinning. For some have no knowledge of God. I say this to your shame.
