요한일서 5장 18~20절
18 하나님께로부터 난 자는 다 범죄하지 아니하는 줄을 우리가 아노라 하나님께로부터 나신 자가 그를 지키시매 악한 자가 그를 만지지도 못하느니라
19 또 아는 것은 우리는 하나님께 속하고 온 세상은 악한 자 안에 처한 것이며
20 또 아는 것은 하나님의 아들이 이르러 우리에게 지각을 주사 우리로 참된 자를 알게 하신 것과 또한 우리가 참된 자 곧 그의 아들 예수 그리스도 안에 있는 것이니 그는 참 하나님이시요 영생이시라
18 We know that everyone who has been born of God does not keep on sinning, but he who was born of God protects him, and the evil one does not touch him.
19 We know that we are from God, and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one.
20 And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true; and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.
신명기 32장 15~18절
15 그런데 여수룬이 기름지매 발로 찼도다 네가 살찌고 비대하고 윤택하매 자기를 지으신 하나님을 버리고 자기를 구원하신 반석을 업신여겼도다
16 그들이 다른 신으로 그의 질투를 일으키며 가증한 것으로 그의 진노를 격발하였도다
17 그들은 하나님께 제사하지 아니하고 귀신들에게 하였으니 곧 그들이 알지 못하던 신들, 근래에 들어온 새로운 신들 너희의 조상들이 두려워하지 아니하던 것들이로다
18 너를 낳은 반석을 네가 상관하지 아니하고 너를 내신 하나님을 네가 잊었도다
15 "But Jeshurun grew fat, and kicked; you grew fat, stout, and sleek; then he forsook God who made him and scoffed at the Rock of his salvation.
16 They stirred him to jealousy with strange gods; with abominations they provoked him to anger.
17 They sacrificed to demons that were no gods, to gods they had never known, to new gods that had come recently, whom your fathers had never dreaded.
18 You were unmindful of the Rock that bore you, and you forgot the God who gave you birth.
요한일서 4장 4절
4 자녀들아 너희는 하나님께 속하였고 또 그들을 이기었나니 이는 너희 안에 계신 이가 세상에 있는 자보다 크심이라
4 Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.
야고보서 4장 7절
7 그런즉 너희는 하나님께 복종할지어다 마귀를 대적하라 그리하면 너희를 피하리라
7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
