I was a Slave to Money!

The way God loved people was so different from the way I loved people.

I thought love was giving money without holding back.

But God's love was giving up even His own life without holding back. 

Of course, it was good to live a diligent life,

but I had lived a life that was always full of worries, coming to God only when I needed something from Him,

all the while claiming that I believed in Jesus. That was how wicked my heart was.

"Just who taught you that money will solve everything? Who taught you such values?"

When God asked me that, I felt like I'd been slapped on the back of my head.

Just who -had- taught me that? I realized that the -world- had!

This world had taught me that all I had ever needed was money.

But when I saw how those in the world who actually did have money and power ended up committing suicide,
